A motherboard is a board which includes all the main components of a computer or other electronic device, usually in the form of a printed circuit board (PCB). Before Amiga had PCBs made, two wire wrap motherboards were used for Lorraine, Peace and War. The first PCB motherboards appeared in the grey box development systems.
