Dave Haynie is a former Commodore hardware engineer whose first Amiga project was the West Chester redesign of the A2000, sometimes called the B2000. The previous version was done by Commodore Braunschweig (BSW).

He went on to design more Amiga hardware including the Zorro III bus for the A3000.
