The Amiga Power System was a cassette based add-on for the Atari VCS. It was announced in 1983 with a retail price of $44.95 USD. The main component of the system was the Power Module, a cartridge which included a CPU and 6K of RAM. Any standard audio cassette recorded could be used for loading games. An optional modem could be used for interacting with other players over the phone line. [1]
