Mark Shieu was the Director of VLSI Design at Amiga. He supervised the layout of the 3 custom chips, especially the Daphne chip.

Prior to Amiga, he worked on chips at Atari under Jay Miner, under Steve Bristow on the unreleased AtariTel line of phones and chips used in coin-op. He had also worked at BTI Computer.
