The grey box is the first version of the Amiga Development System. Just 3 of these boxes were ever made, serial number D-002 being the only example currently known to exist. The cases were made of aluminum.
The motherboard was designed during early 1984. Schematics and other related documentation for the grey box were included in the Orange Timing Book.
